A one-day tour of the San Joaquin Valley that challenged our perceptions about what agriculture is and what it could become. Organized by the Sustainable Cotton Project.
In mid October, when cotton was being harvested and farms throughout the state were at the height of activity, The Sustainable Cotton Project offered a one-day tour. Visitors traveled a central loop through the San Joaquin Valley, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the many sides of conventional, biologically intensive pest management (BioIPM), and organic cotton production.
Del Forte Denim partners with the Sustainable Cotton Project to help its efforts to educate farmers and the public about sustainable and organic cotton farming.
