Speaking Engagement at Magic
The Organic Exchange and the Organic Trade Association has invited Tiera Del Forte to give a presentation on “Green and the Bottom Line” at the MAGIC Marketplace trade show which takes place August 27 to 30, 2007 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The seminar will run from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. The panel Tierra is speaking on will focus on the burgeoning organic fiber apparel market, challenges and opportunities in establishing wholesale and retail lines, and how and why organic apparel is being heralded by consumers and the media.
In Tierra’s own words:
“I wanted to achieve my dream of creating my own premium denim line while protecting the environment and the farmers. One step that we can take to reduce the strain on the environment is to use fabric that is grown without chemical pesticides or insecticides.
